12 Connect to your PC

Minimum PC requirements:

• Windows 2000 SP4 (or above) / XP SP2 / Vista

• Pentium III 500MHz processor or higher

• 256MB RAM

• CD-ROM drive

• Ethernet adapter, enabled (for wired connection) - or

Wireless Network adapter 802.11 b/g (for wireless connection)

• 500MB free hard disk space

Install WADM (Philips Wireless Audio Device Manager, see also 18 FAQ)

Log onto your PC with administrator rights enabled.

Disable the ﬁrewall of your computer to make the connection.

a For Windows 2000 / XP: On your PC, press Start > Settings > Control Panel >

Firewall > Off.

b For Windows Vista: On your PC, press Start > Control Panel > Firewall > Turn

Firewall On or Off > Off.

Insert PC Suite CD into your PC.

Select language and accept license terms.

On the Welcome screen, click Next.

> The installation process starts automatically.

When installation is completed, click Quit.

Connect Center to PC (Wired connection)

Use the supplied orange Ethernet cable to connect the WAC3500D to your PC. (Make sure that

the Ethernet port on your PC is enabled to establish WADM connection).
